Changes to my study programme

There are some of things I’d like to change from the career. Starting with topics related to the curriculum, I think it would be a good idea to have more subjects related to laboratory practices and science, due to is an area that can be very important for us in our future activities. 

Related to workload and length of studies, it would be good to reduce the number of classes or the content in them, since sometimes you get tired just by listening to de class and not even studying it. 

For the faculty facilities is extremely necessary to change and improve the infrastructure of the buildings. It’s known that the place is old, but some things haven’t been changed in a lot of time and don’t work anymore. 

In relation to technology, is a good idea to fix some of the microphones and audio system that the classrooms have. When you are in a class with 90 people is very difficult to listen and understand everything, so the microphones are helpful, and the audio should work perfectly. 

Finally, and about teaching methods, is very important and urgent to make every teacher follow the same line and style of teaching. It happens sometimes that depending on the teacher you have, you receive different comments and lessons about a specific topic, and because of that you learn in a better or worse way.

A country i would like to visit: Mexico

  A country I would like to go is Mexico because of its gastronomy and culture. Mexico is a country located in Central America, its “vibe” is colorful, vibrant and cheerful. It’s known for its folk music (for example, mariachi), spicy food, festivals like Day of the Dead or Holy Week, etc. It also has plenty of landscapes like canyons, waterfalls, caves ¡, islands and pink lakes.  If I lived in Mexico, I would like to know Ancient Chichen Itza, Xcaret Park, I would love to swim in a “cenote”, eat birria tacos and different spicy foods, celebrate a carnival and definitely go to Cancun and Tulum. I would like to study in Mexico because it exists a lot of linguistic diversity so I could have the opportunity of learning and practicing English at the same time, but I wouldn’t like to work or live there because I would prefer another continent like Europe because of the same reason, the language.

English Language Challenges

My experience about learning English at university has been short but good. Short because I only took English IV, I didn´t take English I, II and III, and good because I’ve finally learned different things, I mention this because I feel like I’ve been stuck in the language for many years, since school. Being honest, I didn`t do all the blogs so I didn´t use my blog that much, but seeing my other partners blogs, I think that is a great way for knowing different things about them, learning facts about the blog topics, and of course practice the language using new grammar and vocabulary. The aspects of my English that need to improve are my confidence and my modulation, because I really think that my English is good and useful, I’m sure that I could survive in a country where English is the native language. My problems are that sometimes my tongue gets tangled, and I get embarrassed to speak the language, so basically, I just need practice and more practice. Outside the classes, I use E...
